WHAT'S IN MY BAG?
This is my everyday tote - Alexander Wang's 'Darcy', which I love. Large
enough to cart around all the flotsam & jetsam I might need for work, but
not too heavy and the slouchy not-quite-black leather goes with everything.
If I'm just running errands I often only carry a little clutch with the
bare minimum essentials, which then gets thrown into the big bag.
Sunnies, phone, toiletries...can't be without lip balm.
Sketchbook (I've always used these A5 visual diaries, I like the quality of
the paper and the pages can be ripped out easily for writing notes), keys,
pen (very important, hate not having a pen), business cards, Net-a-Porter
measuring tape, bobby pin, bulldog clip, headphones, paintbrush (not sure
why I'm carrying around a paintbrush)!
Slimline zip pouch that is my portable wallet (the bear design is a bit
ridiculous but it's small enough to fit in my tiniest clutch so I keep
using it!), tissues & chewing gum which are a permanent fixture (I'm a
creature of habit & only like these brands so I have to stock up when I
travel), another pen, and visual merchandising tools - blue masking tape &
a tool for applying vinyl signage to windows.
Clutch, shiny wallet (which always has heaps of heavy change & all the
cards I don't use), gluestick.
Pawpaw cream - any Australian girl worth their salt has a tube of this in
their bag, it's a brilliant multi purpose lip balm/moisturiser/salve. USB
stick & safety pins, because you never know when you might need a safety
pin.
